Beautiful! I have my mother’s hands. Hands that have held, hands that have protected me against abusers, hands that held me and comforted me when I felt like giving up, hands that toiled and labored and hands that stroke the painful parts of my body. I am grateful for my wrinkled, beautiful hands that reminds me of my mother’s.

I really would like to hear from you about your hands. Maybe next time I'll write about My Feet!

My hands are part of an image that I can relate to as my identity, they are in no way who I truly am. An exquisite piece of words in rhythm and song, Pepper! 👌

All of our hands have a very different meaning other than the way they look. Some may look very delicate but have endured a life-time of abuse!

Of course! You asked what my hands represent and I responded with what I have remembered. From an identity perspective, yes, each person’s hands have experienced a myriad of events… these are past-related. My focus is on all-world time that is now. 🙏
