I am a survivor

Subject: Meg’s ashes (Margaret Miller Cunningham)
This is the beautifully carved wooden box in which we placed Meg’s ashes. She always loved butterflies. The butterfly is a symbol of emerging life in a new form. She quite often drew the butterfly in her extensive journal entries.
Meg is in a new life form. She has been transformed into one of God’s beautiful angels, and we will be reunited some day!
She is gone from us on this earth but will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her. She has escaped the woes of this earth and no longer struggles with anxiety and pain.
Meg always said, “I am a survivor!”
Much love,
Dad and Mom

So touching! I am going through a lot of grief and I understand. I want to believe that the departed loved ones are walking besides us. Let’s continue to talk about them and as long as we do they will never be forgotten. Last Saturday was a particularly difficult day as my father passed away 23 years ago on August 23rd .Thank you for sharing!❤
