INCREDIBLE EDIBLES:In the garden's sun-kissed embrace, where petals sway and colors interlace, edible blooms unfurl their fragrant wings, a symphony of taste, where wonder sings.
I. Calendula's Zesty Dance
Calendula, the golden sun's confidant, Her petals-like saffron threads-enchant.
Zesty bitterness graces salad's green, Or dried, they steep in tea, a soothing scene.
II. Bee Balm's Spicy Whispers
Bee balm, crimson starburst in the breeze, Sweet and spicy, a flavor that teases. Salads adorned, petals like confetti, Tea sipped under sunsets, memories set free.
III. Dahlia's Palette of Surprises
Dahlias, flamenco of the soil, Their hues-the fiery reds, oranges, royal blues.
Spicy apples, or water chestnuts they say, Candy them for cakes, let joy have its way.
IV. Herb Flowers: A symphony of Leaves
Basil, cilantro, dill-herbs in bloom, their leaves toughen, but flowers perfume. Pinch off petals, let culinary magic unfold, Pollinators dance, gardens come alive and are bold.

Roses, timeless elegance in syrup's embrace, Their delicate flavor lingers, a soft trace. Lavender, soothing as moonlight's balm, Infusing teas and baked goods with calm.
VII. Marigolds and Pansies: Vibrant Hues
Marigolds and pansies, vibrant and bold, Salads and desserts adorned, stories told. Sunrise yellows, sunset purples- petals divine, Nature's palette on our plates, a feast for the mind.
Dear garden, thank you for your edible treasures- petals on the plate, colors in our cups. May each bloom nourish body and soul.


Reminds me of my mother’s garden and my two friends’ garden. Fond memories of these beautiful souls who taught me so much about edibles and plant’s healing properties.
