GRATITUDE
We don't just feel it, but we act on it!
Gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s a lens through which we see the world. Refining gratitude means shifting our focus to appreciation rather than expectation. It's recognizing the beauty in everyday moments, in the kindness of strangers, in the lessons that hardships teach us. It’s learning to be thankful not just for what we have, but for who we are becoming.
It can be practiced by pausing to reflect, by expressing thanks openly, by finding joy even in difficulties. Gratitude becomes more powerful when it’s intentional—when we don’t just feel it, but act on it. Whether it's writing down what we’re grateful for, telling someone why they matter, or simply choosing contentment over longing, refining gratitude is about making thankfulness an active part of our lives.
Gratitude flows like a river wide, Winding through life's peaks and tides. It hums in laughter, sings in rain, Softens sorrow, soothes our pain.
We wake to sunlight, warm and bright, A gift of gold, a touch of light. The breath we take, the sky so grand, The steady earth beneath our hand.
Kindness offered, love embraced, A gentle word, a heart unfazed. The hands that lift, the souls that stay, Guiding us along the way.
Moments fleeting, yet so sweet, The child’s giggle, memories deep. A meal to share, a voice that calls, The comfort of familiar walls.
So here we stand, in endless grace, Gratitude woven through time and space. Not in riches, nor in grand display, But in simple joys that light our way.
